Community Chaplains are from your community, for your community. Whatever challenges you are facing, whether it’s anxiety, grief, redundancy, relationship issues or loneliness, our chaplains can provide non-judgemental support. These include people who are working in schools, prisons, workplaces, sports teams, the armed services and hospitals, both as trained chaplains and as volunteers. This programme enables students to complete the New Zealand Diploma in Christian Studies (Level 5) with a strand in Chaplaincy. Community Chaplains. Our typical Community Chaplains are recently retired with a day or two free, but we welcome anyone to enquire who would like to do so.

We have rescheduled Auckland, it is now 11 July (the promotional letters/brochures will go out soon) and we are working on rescheduling Wellington (was 27 June). Chaplaincy New Zealand is a ministry which incorporates those who perform Chaplaincy duties in a wide range of settings. We then have a careful selection process to ensure that everyone is suitable for the role.
