1 Answer. Yes Damon does die at the end of Midnight, but he comes back to life again (of course)in Phantom. But then she kissed Damon, which kinda pissed Stefan off. I don't like what they did on Season 1.
Throughout the series, the two go through much chaos, pain and torture together, but their strong, powerful love for each other is what keeps them together.
