The newest and tallest skyscraper in San Francisco's changing skyline is a symmetrical tower, which is also the tallest office building west of Chicago. Salesforce Tower is an unmistakable giant, topping out at 1,070 feet tall -- more than 200 feet taller than the Transamerica Pyramid, the previous tallest building in San Francisco.

Salesforce Tower, formerly known as the Transbay Tower, is a 1,070-foot (326 m) office skyscraper in the South of Market district of downtown San Francisco.It is located at 415 Mission Street between First and Fremont Streets, next to the Transbay Transit Center site. The Bank of America Building stands 799 feet tall. If you looked at the San Francisco skyline on recent nights, you might have noticed the lights were turned on at the top of the new Salesforce Tower.
