2014: NCFL’s first full-time employee retires after 25 years at NCFL. Family Literacy Reading With Your Children Workshops engage families in literacy-related activities. Family Literacy programs address the literacy strengths and needs of the family/community while promoting adults' involvement in children's education, recognizing adults as a powerful influence on children's academic success.
